Dear Forts Pond Elementary School Mallard Family,

At Forts Pond Elementary School, we will Be Kind, Learn Together, Celebrate Big! I am eager to work in partnership with you this upcoming school year as we make this vision come to life. I will continue to facilitate a safe and positive culture where staff, students, and families feel valued, supported, and have a voice. This will happen through clear communication, strong school and community relations, and strategic innovation and planning.  

I received a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Winthrop University in the areas of Elementary Education and Curriculum and Instruction. I also hold a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of South Carolina. With sixteen years of experience in education (most recently serving as an assistant principal here at “The Pond”), my commitment to students, colleagues, this school family, and the Pelion community, coupled with my passion and dedication to providing superior educational experiences, makes me energized about what the future holds at Forts Pond Elementary School!
